We needed something stronger than tea. Just spent the day cycling around Rome. The guy at the bike hire place gave us a map for a circular route but neglected to tell us which way round to go! Heck, as if it wasn’t dangerous enough on these roads!!
Pokemon Rome
Just arrived at our lovely hotel in Rome. Had a totally hair-raising taxi ride from the airport, taxi driver simultaneously reading an Italian version of Thompson Local and arguing with someone on his mobile phone whilst speeding in the fast lane. The car is definitely king here, think cycling round this city is going to be absolutely terrifying.
